Wouldn't wish him on my frenemies or anyone but my worst enemies.
Had me pay for all of the repairs and then taking that amount out of my rent. At the end of my lease, he never repaid the remaining amount owed and I'm still waiting for it, 6 months later. I will be taking him to small claims court.
Incredibly rude; the phrasing of his emails and texts was as if he thought I was an idiot or a child. (One example: I told him the drying cycle of the dishwasher was tripping the electricity and he claimed that was impossible and that he is an engineer so he should know. He's a computer engineer, from what I can tell, not an electrical engineer. And that was indeed what caused the trip. As soon as the dishwasher - which I paid for - was replaced, no more electric trips.)
He is very cheap when getting repairs or cleaning done - he would not pay more than 60 GBP for carpet cleaning, so I had to pay the remaining amount - before I even moved in!
