Omg this landlord decided not to protect my deposit and lie about it. They wouldn't come check the property before i left. They implied i never paid my rent.. I paid my deposit in full at the beginning of the tenancy and kept the receipt...The rent was paid two weeks early every month... they lied about everything, they even tried to pin other fraud activity that was going on from that house on me... and had me investigated.. which was fine because i had nothing to hide..they are not to be trusted what so ever.. i ended up taking them to court and i won... YES i won. i had receipts and texts and emails to prove every thing they said was an utter lie. They were made to pay me the full sanction and the judge told them they had not one ounce of integrity. Oh and they have done exactly the same thing to the next tenant.. BEWARE... These landlords are now facing another court hearing of which will likely be posted on here...

I had to leave previous beautiful property in a hurry due to a rat problem in the loft. Moved into this house knowing it needed decorating but i was prepared to do it. Didnt realise how bad it actually was until i moved in.. Damp, in the fitted wardrobes and bathroom, rotten skirting boards, broken floor tiles, old washer, drier and cooker and the cooker was filthy. There were no tiles on the worktops and holes in the walls which i had to fix., problems with the electrics.Stair carpet was ancient and they tried to charge me nearly £1000 to replace when i left. The bathroom and toilet was also very old with a crack in the bath panel, which they blamed me for. I put a lot of time and money into decorating with landlords permission, for them to turn around and say i didn't ask.. but i kept all the texts to prove so, which were used in court. They also said i stole petty items such as lightbulbs, oven trays and fridge selves lol

local area was fine, close to schools and shops and my neighbours were lovely, even helped me out with my court hearing...
