When repairs were needed he tried to fob them off onto us to do/arrange. If we arranged ourselves, he wouldn't reimburse and left any risks on us. If we chased him to fix things he'd simply claim he didn't have the budget (even though the property was advertised in this way and the contract required it). In addition, he let himself into the property on one occasion without permission when he thought we weren't home. One to avoid.

Reasonable property but everything cheap. Lots of things constantly breaking down which is a problem when the landlord won't fix anything. Not worth the price we were paying.
