Never met him until we'd given our notice to vacate the property. Took a significant amount of our deposit to address work that needed to be done before we moved in so I ended up paying for his negligence. If dealing with this landlord ensure that you take plenty of pictures when you move in so that he doesn't try to grift you too.

Carpets were stained before we moved in and never replaced, despite suggestions otherwise. Damp build-up, as a result of poor ventilation in bathroom, was never addressed. Curtains and windows grimey when moving in. All these, along with the lack of inventory report, made it very clear the landlord did no work between the previous tenants moving out and me moving in.

Central but relatively peaceful despite being on a main road and near 2 schools and a church.
