Tenancy review for 107 Greys Road in Henley-on-thames, Henley-on-thames rented from Lynette Hawkims

She lives right next door.... She’s on call if there’s an issue, but I know for a fact that she was in the property many times without my permission. She shouted at me on numerous occasions, sent WhatsApp message demanding to know I’d watered ‘Her plants’. I was reprimanded like a naughty school girl over the three leaks (that were never properly repaired) that occurred in the property and told she hadn’t worked her backside off not to reap the rewards of the high rent which she’d set at £2200. The letting agency did not agree with this amount and talked her into dropping to £2000. But she agreed to £1800 for me.
When I informed her of my intention to move, that’s when her bullying tactics started and I was accused after my move of damaging her property and she refused to give me back almost 2/3’s of my deposit. Luckily I had taken 239 photographs and was able to prove via the TDS that the house was in extremely good condition upon my lease ending.
I was awarded my deposit, but during this very stressful time she brought up my personal life and financial situation to the arbitrator.
Am extremely unpleasant woman and I pity anyone who rents from her.

Property looks amazing when first looking around. But is prone to leaks. Owner thinks it’s immacuate, but her shoddy ‘builder’ has left issues and she tries to fix herself, without any expertise.
