Tenancy review for Amersham House Station Lane in Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh rented from Stroud Property Management

Stroud couldn't give a flying hoot, due to a misunderstanding I sent the notice in before the end of the month, not that they had to receive it before the end of the month. Following this they said we have to pay another months rent and are not advertising the property which would be the only way for us to get out of the contract. Following all the problems we have had over the tenancy period this is the cherry on the cake, say goodbye to any deposit you give them.

Property was lovely, newly purpose built 4 flat building in a lovely area with lovely neighbours.

Shame the landlord did not maintain it, Took them 2 years to replace broken patio doors, never repaired the mould damage. Boiler failed gas safety inspection and was moved, left exposed pipes and breeze blocks in the kitchen and holes in the wall near the new boiler in the middle of the living room for over a year telling us that they had no responsibility to repair 'cosmetic damage'.

Area rating: 10

Close to local shops, train station, busses, and great neighbours. Couldn't fault it.
