Landlord does send trades people in whenever there is an issue however is unwilling to replace any old equipment (for example the shower and the boiler which I believe are the original fittings)
There have been some damp issues which took 2 over months to solve, this is particularly down to the property management company though

There is a noise issue in these flats, no insulation so any noise from other flats (whether it be hoovering, music or DIY) you will hear it! All the floors creak and you can hear the surrounding flats creaky floors as if it was in your own flat (better hope you are lucky enough to have quiet neighbor's if you live here).
Damp issues due to lack of insulation in the walls, you will need a dehumidifier if you live here. There has also been issues with damp on the spare bedroom which comes from issues with the exterior of the building, this has been 'fixed' now however there is a damp smell that remains.

A lot of the flats are rented so it's a bit hit and miss who is in your 'neighborhood'. One thing to note is that several of the flats are owned by older people so some things such as making noise or having BBQs in the shared garden are disapproved of by some residents.
Many of the residents are very friendly and it has been known to have a group BBQ on the odd occasion
