Thorntons Property, St Andrews

Very quick with organising repairs and responding to emails etc but quite irregular with inspections. The standards for inspections are a bit ridiculous- we were given an amber warning for a pair of boots on a bedroom floor being flagged as a tripping hazard. Not the worst letting agency by far but not the best.

Not a big fan of Thorntons, they're easy enough to contact, but repairs weren't done particularly quickly and they charged £30 for a housing reference after I left. They also didn't pay off the energy bill for the Summer fully, which left me having to prove to CoOp that I wasn't there over the Summer, so I didn't have to foot the bill. The maintenance staff who did come over were professional and good at their jobs, but I think they were independent contractors, hired by Thorntons rather than Thorntons staff.
