Contact Marks Out Of Tenancy
Pick the address that fits and we will get it to the right person. We aim to reply within one hour during office hours.
Renters, and everyone else
Questions about writing or editing a review, problems with your account, or anything that does not fit the categories below. Researchers, policymakers and campaigners, this is the one.
If you are in the middle of a housing problem, the renters' rights guides will usually get you further faster than we can, and they are free. For urgent housing advice, Shelter and Citizens Advice are the right first call rather than us.
Landlords and letting agents
membership@marksoutoftenancy.com
Claiming a profile, replying to reviews, or working out what membership involves. Most of the common questions are answered on the membership page, with the detail for landlords and letting agents separately.
If you want a specific review looked at, that goes through the complaints procedure rather than by email, because it needs a record and it gets investigated properly.
Press and media
Interviews, data requests and comment on the private rented sector. Our press page has previous coverage, the data we can share, and brand guidelines.
Councils and enforcement teams
For OccupID and address-level data on unlicensed HMOs, empty homes, overcrowding and single person discount fraud. What the service does.
Students' unions, universities and partner organisations
Partnerships are free and carry no contractual obligation. For students' unions and our current partners.
Data protection
For data protection requests, including access to or deletion of your data, write to voice@marksoutoftenancy.com with "Data protection" in the subject line. Our privacy policy sets out what we hold and why. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, reference ZA526611.
