Twice they tried to increase my rent in direct contravention of my tenancy agreement. Then they wanted £150 in order for me to move to a statutory periodic tenancy. They then tried to evict me because I would not agree to the (illegal) rent increase. They never responded to my complaint against this eviction attempt, and when I attempted to make a formal complaint to The Property Ombudsman, they quickly became unregistered from the scheme, and were not actually registered with any Redress Scheme (this by itself is liable to a fine of up to £5000).
