We had extensive difficulties with our landlord, the first year was fine but when worked needed to be carried out for repointing the back of the house things changed. Work was only carried out at weekends only, no compensation was given despite us not being able to use the garden on weekends for over 6 weeks over the summer and no attempt was made to rearrange work when we asked for a single weekend work free. Our deposit was not put into a deposit scheme for over a year of our tenancy. She seemed to forget that whilst she owned the property it was actually our home.
