Landlord reviews for Madelord Ltd in London

Incredibly unprofessional, the marketing for the room was not only intentionally misleading. After I signed an initial contract for an agreed move in date (and ensuring I will move out of my prior house in time), Madelord changed the date with a new contract (I had to pay for extra storage for my belongings and stay with a friend until the newly agreed move in date. When I finally moved in, it was fairly under-cleaned (despite that being the reason for the move in delay).
I also found out that I couldn't open my windows to my room because of all the soil it will bring on my single bed. The water was constantly freezing or boiling (including the one in the sink) and the drainage issues for the bathroom was difficult to live with. Madelord was unresponsive in making necessary changes, and clearly used to having disappointed tenants with high churn.

I was very disappointed with Madelord. The landlord did the bare minimum to keep the property livable. This includes providing heating at a minimum, 3 times days, while the rest of the day, the flat was cold and I needed an electric heater that cost me over 50£ a month in electricity. The shower turned cold after a few minutes of showering. The bathroom had moistures stamped on the walls. The front door made a terrible sound while people slammed it all day and the landlord was against fixing it
