Lovely until the point we signed on the line. She was always abroad so unable to help with anything, passive aggressive with every response even though we never missed a bill. Trying to get anything fixed was impossible and then not considered as wear and tear when leaving the flat. As per usual with landlords this is where things got crazy, over 1000£ taken from us for little reason. 500£ for keys...., a 300£ mattress without proof of price of the one it was replacing. Madness but she's not worth the argument.

Your review came as a total surprise given our harmonious relationship over your three year tenancy. There was never a dispute during this time. All issues and repairs were swiftly resolved either by me, our handyman or tradesmen.
I understand your anger at the cost of replacement and repair. I operate a like-for-like policy when replacing damaged or missing items to ensure that each tenant benefits from the same high quality of furnishings and fittings as any previous tenants.
The price of making good both the lost keys and damaged lock for the windows and security grilles surprised me as it did you. But since neither you nor I could purchase replacement keys, I had to ask for professional help. This resulted in the replacement of the locks, by the same company that originally fitted the security grilles.
