Dishonest landlord. She had a major water leak at property under her kitchen. Huge disruption to us during tenancy. After repairs complete she refused to pay for the excess water costs, saying it was not under her name. Took 6 months of emails to water company to eventually have the excess wiped.
She gave us our notice after we asked for electricity safety check when lightbulbs blew whennturing light on. We have young kids and safety was the priority.
She forced a workman to replace the whole vinyl flooring after a small tear, instead of allowing him to repair the small damaged section.
At end of tenancy she was dishonest and tried to claim for existing damages items from deposit, fabricating willingly. Pleased to say she lost the deposit dispute.
Nice property and good neighbourhood but avoid any rentals from Anne Pearce. The estate agents Elizabeth Davenport were spineless and took a very passive stance against this terrible landlord.
