Nice guy to talk to, will help out when it's convenient, eg helped us change a washing machine over.
No interest in the damp problem or the mouse problem.
Wanted to keep our deposit to paint the damp walls. We had kept records of when we had complained about the damp and photo evidence of regularly cleaning the walls (hence patches on the paint work).
Told us to call the council when we complained about mice. We filled in holes around radiators, doors, skirting and units ourselves at our own cost. It helped but mice could still get in from the flat upstairs and probably other places.
We stayed almost 3 years because it was convenient and we kept on top of the issues ourselves but V when our baby started crawling we had to move on. After a few months of arguing about our deposit he went quiet for long enough for us to claim our deposit back without his consent.
