Hyde housing and their contractor Mears have abused and terrorised me and 1000s of other tenants over the years. It is shocking all the many things they have done, which I can go into detail in further correspondence.
Complaining about things such as mould , damp, leaks and lots of disrepair has just made matters 1000x worse and has lead to abuse and being deprived of basic facilities like a bathroom, kitchen, hot water and heating some for many years. They have seriously damaged people's health both physically and mentally and used your disability as a way to get to you.
I have attached some images that show some of the issues I have with my flat that I have a secure tenancy with from Hyde housing association.
Getting Hyde to do the work and doing works myself has been more than a full time job. It has seriously damaged my health both physically and mentally. I have not been able to work since moving into the property in and has it destroyed many types of relationships. I have made 1000s of calls and emails to Hyde and many professionals from MPs, Lewisham council, housing ombudsman, solicitors and advocates etc have been working on the case. In the mean time both houses either side have been demolished and rebuilt.
Mears have terrorised and abused me after my complaints. As they know I have ASD they have used that by the many things they have done, like making me move my furniture back and forth over 100 times. Although their reliability has improved from showing up 1 in 10 times to begin with, now when they do show nothing gets done or they make my situation even worse. I am also left with leaks, once 3 different leaks by the same workman. If not leaks, I am left not able to use any rooms and so can't or cook or wash for years. Also £1000s worth of things have been stolen and damaged by them.
If I do the work myself in the property like fix any issues they cause, they will twist it and use it against me. I am still doing what I can like cleaning the mould off the walls, as unfortunately I have to live here.
