Manipulative, verbally abusive and discriminative.
1) I have a Spanish Christian surname but I'm brown which surprised her and set the tone for the rest of our interactions. She ultimately told me to stop cooking Indian food so I switched my diet to accommodate hers. My flat mate cooked strong smelling Indonesian food but would give her servings but continued cooking whatever she liked.
2) She asked me take care of some things for example cook her son noodles.
3) She initially asked me to break the contract with the agent at 3 month mark point saying she would lower the rent. I did not agree. After 6 month renewal contract she said she would not renew it with the agent. She ultimately hiked up the rent by £150 pm.
4) I got very sick one day and she forced me to take a COVID test. This was October 2022. It came out positive but I was stuck in my bedroom for 3 weeks as she did not want me to leave the flat. I could not grab basic amenities.
5) The heating wasn't working for a few days so she gave us a portable heater. I kept it on top of my cupboard and left for a week to Brighton. She did not give notice and checked my room for the heater while I was away and got very upset when she could not find it. When I returned from my trip, she barged into my room in a threatening manner.
