Not responsive when it came to fixing. Would take months to get anything done, even when things were taking a toll on my daily life - water hammering making loud random noises at night etc.
Lousy excuses like "it takes a long time to get tradesman/plumber in" - I can find tradesman on fb, whatsapp, taskrabbit so quick be so fr.
The oven smelt of fish, when I mentioned this could be a electrical faulty (we don't eat fish and don't even use the oven much) he came over with his girlfriend (which is illegal btw, he didn't tell me she would be there prior), she had a look and said it's just because it was dirty and I didn't clean it properly (it was in the same state as when i moved in).

told me I needed to get a professional cleaner for end of tenancy (which is illegal for landlords to ask btw). I agreed because had exams anyway. however the cleaner cancelled on the last minute because her son had a heart condition, so I ended up cleaning it myself.
landlord told me himself that the property was in "immaculate condition". only when he found out that it wasn't professionally cleaned did he ask to deduct costs and that he felt "cheated" due to it.
tried to deduct costs for tiny wall imperfections (he zoomed in so much while I had the original photos, some photos were so out of context like a tiny scratch on at the top of the walls, the walls are so high i couldn't have even reached that high let alone damage it) - example below.
tried to make me pay for a mouse hole damage underneath the skirting board that I told him months ago about and he never bothered to fix.

threw a fit and started victimizing himself when I said I don't agree to the charges and let's go through tenancy deposit scheme to deal with this.
argued with me back and forth saying the property had a weird smell, and that he couldn't prove that with photos to the deposit scheme (maybe the smell is the weird fish smell that i told you about months ago???)
told me he was at a disadvantage for giving back the remaining deposit we weren't debating over (eg giving me back £1200 out of £1700 when he's trying to claim £500 for deduction, which like how?)

waited for weeks for him to upload his claims to TDS, he never did. texted me that he has been dealing with his dog's death so can we just deduct £100 and call it a day. at this point so exhausted in communicating with him, so just agreed to it.
