The worst landlord I've had the misfortune of dealing with. Extremely entitled, immature and unable to speak or act in a professional manner. When raising issues, it's common for him to gaslight and say he's never had this kind of problem with a tenant in [insert amount of years] rather than addressing the problem. He doesn't seem to like tenant rights at all, because if you do keep asking for help, he will threaten you with eviction, tell you to leave as if his temper tantrums override tenant rights. Extremely emotional, volatile and aggressive over written communications, but loses all of that in person. I've spoke to other people who have rented with him (he has quite a lot of properties in the Hounslow area), and there is a common thread: that he acts like he's doing you a favour renting from him, and there is a high risk of him getting upset and telling you to get out of "his" house. Feels very much like paying someone to borrow a room, rather than renting an actual home. Also prone to saying things, forgetting them later and denying he said it, then complaining he's being bothered by standard requests. I would not recommend a landlord like this. It very much felt like being trapped in an abusive relationship with a resentful man.

Abusive, harassing person who served an illegal invalid eviction notice. I would give zero stars if I could. The other tenants had a similar experience. Rented to me without a license. Please avoid the Karia family properties.
