I’ve dealt with several landlords over the years, but none as frustrating as this one. He was the main reason we moved out, as dealing with him was taking a serious toll on our mental health.
At first, he seemed attentive, eager to fix problems. In reality, he insisted on doing all repairs himself, often making things worse and dragging simple jobs out for days (it once took him three days to replace a small fan).
Even worse was his constant presence and lack of respect for privacy—once I caught him tightening his muddy shoe on our coffee table. He was arrogant and dismissive; when I asked about insulating the freezing bathroom (12°C in winter), he replied, “I’m not the one paying the bills, after all.”
Don’t be fooled by how the property looks in pictures or on first visit. It had major issues—leaks, severe mold, and was ultimately uninhabitable. It’s not worth your health or peace of mind. Look elsewhere.
