Rude, argumentative landlord. We lived in the student property for one year and there was building work the entire time, despite him telling us it would be complete before we moved in. He and his builder would turn up without forewarning at all times of day.
Single glazed windows were supposed to be replaced with double-glazing before the tenancy started. Never happened.
New kitchen was being fitted before we moved in, but wasn't complete until 4 months into tenancy. The new kitchen sink was installed with a hole in it. Reported to landlord and he charged the replacement to our deposits even though it was his builder's fault. Charged £50 each to 6 tenants (£300 total) but the exact sink was only £60 from B&Q.
Requested the DPS details so we could check into the deduction and was sworn at down the phone.

The landlord was very aggressive and arguementative. When filling in the inventory the landlord said, with a threatening tone, to write how clean and perfect everything was.

The landlord was slow to fix problems and usually tired to blame us.
