Landlord reviews for David Poultney in Chiswick

We were warned by the agency after signing the contract that the landlord was quirky. He liked the rent in cash or by cheque to be dropped off at his office in office hours. Bit tricky when working full time. When the mould situation arose I called to ask him to send someone to take a look. His immediate reaction was tell me I was not suited to the house and that I should move out immediately. He was a rambling old man (approx.85) that the office ladies constantly apologised for when he made sexist comments. He did offer to pay back the rent in full but I think this was purely to keep us quiet and move us on as quickly as possible. Detestable man - one month after returning to pick up some post he had already moved new tenants in.
