Went a month without a fridge, and never collected the old fridge. Before replacing it he kept telling us to unplug it and turn it off “for a bit”.
Disputed the deposit until it was proven we didn’t agree to provide a professional clean. Even then he attempted to withhold it over petty accusations until I sent him letter stating I was going to involve the deposit scheme.
Would also only try to dispute the deposit over the phone, and didn’t provide any email address to avoid proof or evidence.
When moving out, he only had one lawnmower which wasn’t available until after we had moved out.
