I caught my landlord doing something gross in the kitchen when I came home from lunch one day in between classes. He left a white liquid on the floor and tried to pass it off as soup. He decided to kick me out via WhatsApp and then blocked me (very unprofessional).
He also kicked out my roommate at the same time because he asked her for an extra £500 and she said no. For WEEKS he would send both me and my roommate abusive text messages and emails. When it came to giving my deposit back, he refused to do so until I got my mother involved. He only gave part of it back even after saying that there wasn't any damage to the property. I even got the house checked out before I left.
When I was preparing to leave the house, I wanted to get all of the laundry done, but it was impossible since this man would scream and shout verbal abuse and make weird noises AT me when I was alone. Many people said that I should not go there alone anymore, so I'd have a friend or friend's parent come with me to the house when I needed something. When I was with someone, this man would bow his head down and barely say a word and quickly go away; however, when I was alone, he suddenly found courage and aggression, and would scream and scream and scream at me. This man is the most scary man I have ever met in my entire life. he is entitled, rude, angry, patronising, and he swears a lot in anger.
I had to live with a friend and her family because they said it was not safe for me to be there.
A woman I know who works with the police told me I should report him.
