Mario is simultaneously the most confusing, rude, tight fisted and ignorant landlord I have ever had the misfortune to know. His approach to communication is a mixture of unannounced visits (which are illegal) and aggressive, badly written emails. From threatening eviction on Christmas Eve because of charcoal dust in the lavatory to refusing to allow a payment holiday, threatening interest and serving us a notice to quit when we all lost our jobs at the beginning of lockdown, Mario is a caricature of everything that is wrong with landlords.

The worst service I have ever had. During the year some maintenance issues were resolved quickly and the landlord did respond to most requests but other simple ones like a dripping tap we were told it was fine and never got replaced - for such an easy fix the hassle caused for this was strange. There is a strange situation as the landlord has a right of way through the flat and so was at the property a lot - majority of times we did get notice after we complained of a lack of notice at the beginning. Getting deposits back proved to be a nightmare as the landlord tried to claim for the microwave that we bought! After accusing us of stealing it, we provided receipt evidence and eventually got our deposit back but there was no apology from the landlord for their accusations.
