Repairs and maintenance were neglected by the landlady so it deteriorated throughout our tenancy.
The landlady then tried to claim £2,300 on a £2,000 bond to cover the cost of redecorating and repairing wear and tear due to her negligence of maintenance.
The letting agency was on our side and told her everything was fair wear & tear however she took it took the deposit adjudicator. The adjudicator ended up awarding her £20 from her £2,300 claim!
Apparently she owns 15 properties and pulls this stunt on all her tenants.
