Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in Radford, Nottingham

I like it tbh, close to the tram and the forest field park, close to a shop open almost 24/7; gym, b&m, aldi and the range are 5 min away, asda 10 min. City center 15-20

Feel unsafe in neighbourhood poor security had bike stolen with little regard to my property

Nice neighbours, unfortunately Alfreton road isn’t the nicest. Tesco’s across the road is a perk

The block of flats are very nice but the surrounding area is a bit dodgy and can feel unsafe at night.

Bus stations are of many in the area. With direct buses running to the trainstation and city centre. Mostly beneficial for Uni of nottingham students

The area is convenient as it is close to uni but there are loads of homeless people Around

Very bad area lots of drugs and police activity. Poor community. But close to shops! :)

A bit sketchy after dark, but has great takeaways and not too far from city centre. Yes.

Typical student area, sometimes a bit loud, close to a shop but on a Main Street. Crime rate are high

Forest Rec is merely a few minutes away. Tram stop is around the corner so all areas of city centre, Clifton and West Bridgeford are accessible!

Full of uni students but quite a rough area still. Residents there don’t usually speak to one another.

The local area is ok. Very average. There are good shops close by such a Tesco. Would recommend.

Handy with Tesco and tram really close. 20 minute walk to class. Ocean people are very noisy at 4am and often pre I’m courtyard (don’t really care as long as it doesn’t affect my sleep). Not soundproofed but used to that in cheap places. People upstairs are very stompy this year and have woken me up but that’s just luck of the draw as last year was fine.
