The good is that it is spacious and warm and The furniture is amazing as they are classic antiques, (which is so amazing and homie) . There are big windows that open (always a plus especially in the winter months as it let's more light in) . Also it is kept clean by the landlord. However, because its old in nearly every kitchen their is a hob that does not work. So there was 8 of trying to share 4 pans. The taps and cupboards are old and in need of replacing as the pipes moan or on the upper floors the taps have air and will spit and or chug the water out in intervals. On one floor, the wood under the shower is rotting and there is gaping hole in the middle of the wood. You can tell the landlord keeps the place clean or I feel that it would be a whole lot worse. The fire safety is not the best either. There are no signs pointing towards the exit. The smoke alarms in the kitchens do not work. One time the kitchen was full of smoke because someones food caught fire. And the alarm only went off, when the kitchen door was opened and the smoke went into the hallway.
Don't get me wrong I am grateful that I have somewhere warm to stay in a room that I love but I just do not think it is the safest.
