The accom is incredibly small and overpriced. When I moved in my window didn’t close properly (so there was constant noise and cold wind!), my shower was leaking and the place clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The room is in excess of most places In nottingham but yet significantly poor quality!! The only perks about this accom is the adjoining building which houses a games room/ study room. But even still, considering the sheer size of the building and how many people live there, this is not enough space. It was soo underwhelming. I thought it would be safe, that was why I was willing to pay the price and then I found out that the landlord used to come into my room during the day without my permission, not only was this illegal but also so creepy! Furthermore, for the first couple weeks or semester the fire alarm wasn’t working properly so would go off at 2am/ 5am for no good reason. We would regularly have to be evacuated and not able to go back in for hours. With no where to go everyone just lingered in the streets. It was so awful. 2 stars is actually generous. But I must account for the convenience of the concierge for parcels and the study room, which if you go early morning and get a space, saves a trip to university. Also, it’s really close to the city. But, it’s not worth it and there are MUCH better places to go live than here. It is completely and utterly disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend even if you have money to waste. You won’t be satisfied and this was definitely the mood of most of my friends here too. Terrible place and staff.
