The house itself is an okay size with one bathroom, a kitchen/living room and four bedrooms (very unequal in size though, one is huge, two big and one tiny). However, the condition of the house is poor. All ceilings and walls are cracked, the bedroom walls are chipped. The bathroom has a very severe damp and mould problem (orange mushrooms literally grow from the walls, floor and cracks). There is also clearly a pipe problem as the toilets, sinks and bath become blocked repeatedly despite professional plumbers coming round and us regularly unblocking them. One bedroom has a damp problem with it spreading from the wall conjunctions. Another bedroom was unliveable upon move in with grey/black walls from severe nicotine/incense/smoke which were beyond dirty. I had to clean, strip and repaint it myself in live in it. The kitchen is quite small for four people and there are lots of stains and marks in the lino floor and carpet. Most bedrooms had broken furniture in them when we moved in, two wardrobes draws are broken and so unusable. The cooking hobs are in poor condition and the windows of the kitchen don't even open for ventilation. Furthermore, upon move in, all the chairs in the kitchen were broken with the legs wobbling and the backs falling off. The boiler leaks and depressurises often, the electric shower is temperamental and the heating in the house does little in the winter to help. All in all, the house is in a poor state and they know it. The inventory even lists it as poor.
