The property was filthy, with all of the old tenants furniture still in there.
They refused to compensate or revise the tenancy even though the property was not suitable to move into for over a week. The property was in awful repair and all repair work was refused. There is a huge mold issue that was all repairs were refused, there was a sewage issue which was never rectified. We then had scaffolding up at our bedroom and lounge windows and had workers constantly for months with no privacy as the main doors bought the top floor flat and was renovating it yet still refused to do any work to out flat which by this point had massive leaks, zero insolation and we were a viewing gallery for him and his mates. They he tried to up the rent by 20% with still a refusal to make the property livable.
