Standard 3 bed, mid terrace house. The house was in mild disrepair but we were promised the property would be freshly decorated before we moved in. This was never done and all reported issues were either ignored or done cheaply.
On our move in date, the carpets were soaking wet as they had only just been cleaned that morning.
The cooker we were told would be remaining in the property was replaced with the cheapest £50 cooker from Currys.
Electrics were of a poor standard and often tripped, meaning kitchen appliances could not be run. Windows are draughty, full of moisture between the panes and need replacing. Lead plumbing was advised to be replaced. Walls were full of holes from furniture fixings and not filled while wallpaper was tired, worn and torn. Paint was chipped and yellowed. Window surroundings were mouldy. Damp comes through the wall in the front bedroom and the repair that was completed was to simply glue the wallpaper back without fixing the issue.
