The location is the only thing going for this flat.
There's a lot of dampness and mould. The bathroom has a lot of areas that have mould growing and the windows are terrible because of the single glazing. Asked for a fan to be put in to help with the moisture but they said no and to open the window instead. This is not fun in the winter.
All windows are single glazing and have gaps in them so when to cold winter wind hits, it comes straight into the flat. The windows also grow black mould so you need to clean them with bleach and a toothbrush every few months because of all the condensation. Unless you want to sleep and breathe in black mould.
Both bedrooms have a bookcase/closet on the wall that's against the exterior. You can't use these as there is so much condensation build up that they grow mould and are wet all winter. You have to use 3 towels to wipe the condensation away.
The washing machine kept breaking and smelled like mildew. Makes your clothes smell too. I deep cleaned it when I first moved in and couldn't get it clean.
Luckily we managed to get a new boiler put in but it's not much help because the flat isn't properly insulated so when it's on you feel the heat but once it's off all heat is away.
Winters are brutal in this flat with the dampness and heat not staying in the flat and with such high energy prices its not worth it!
