This place is awesome. The main part was built around 1500, then the kitchen section later. The kitchen is massive, really well fitted out - someone did this to live in, not to rent. There is a little utility room off the back where we had our freezer etc. The built in fridge doesn't always close properly, you need to be a bit careful with it.
The one breakdown we had while living here was the washing machine, this was replaced really quickly, although the old one then sat in the back garden until we moved out.
The lounge is pretty small, but good enough for a 2 bed. The beams and fireplace are beautiful. The little downstairs toilet has a large cupboard in for storage.
We were allowed cats living here, both of ours were really happy here.
The stairs double back on themselves, so can be a little awkward to get stuff up. It's a really old house, so some of the floors are a bit uneven etc. The master bedroom is huge, and kind of L shaped, we used the bit at the end for a dressing table etc for my partner to do makeup etc at. The second bedroom is also huge, but more square.
The bathroom is nice, there is a massive beam going across the top, which our cat liked to sit on top of and watch you from!!
We replaced all the bulbs with LED not long after moving in. There are a lot of 50W Halogen Spotlights in the place, so it would be really expensive to run otherwise. We took these with us when we left and put the originals back in, sorry! ;)
