The room in I had was tiny 11 SQM - however its badly laid out so felt very poky. It was clean when I rented it. The big problem was that in the summer it is south facing and so becomes very very hot. It is hard to ventilate as there is a busy road so opening the windows lets in pollution. It was awfully hard to be there June to August.

Bathrooms are shared - but generally clean - tho it depends on other people there.
Laundry is also shared - could be dusty/messy but was adequate if not great.

Frankly I never got to know anyone else in the building - Id describe it as isolating.

My other big complaint was vermin - just at the end of my time there mice and cockroaches appeared. It might have been related to the restaurants near by The letting agent wasn't very quick to respond.

The agent is now looking for £750 a month (SEPT 2019) , I paid less than £550 just a few years ago. It is not worth 750 much as its a tiny bedsit. Please look elsewhere as for the money you could definitely find a much better deal.
