Absolutely useless. When I moved in cupboards were broken which he promised to fix but never did, the shower leaks and rust comes out from underneath, the extractor fan drips constantly in the winter, there’s mould EVERYWHERE and laundry will not dry inside
Now let’s get to the truly disappointing behaviour.
I have ptsd flashbacks from when my ex would bang on my door all night before he got put inside, a month after he was sentenced, a woman and her daughter moved in underneath me. They are INCREDIBLY loud and always banging, walking and running on the floor so heavily my bed shakes, which in turn gives me flashbacks especially during the night. I explained this to Colin and he didn’t do anything about it apart from talk to her and see if her cupboards slam. After months of enduring this noise I started having seizures again due to the pure stress this woman was putting me through, I was having them so often that it was too dangerous for me to work, and I have now not been able to work for six months. I’d begged him to help me and he refused. I told him he was not doing his job as a landlord and im paying £675 a month + bills to live in a mouldy and tiny studio room which is ridiculous. Since then he holds a grudge against me, and has been picking on me. I wasn’t allowed to keep my hoover under the stairwell, even though it was fine for other people to keep things there, he accused me of hiding his deck chair cushions… why would I even do that? He all of a sudden wouldn’t let me dry my clothes in the place I’d been drying them for a year and a half, and to top it all off, he’s given me an eviction notice with two months to leave, under the housing act 1988 section 21, which allows a landlord to end a tenancy without any good reason. His actions are abysmal, and he’s a nasty, petty old man.

None of which were amended later on, except for the shower, which wasn’t fixed all the way and still leaks
