We are very easy people, we do repair ourselves, we don’t even ask for them to be deducted from our rent.. we never call or bother a landlord unless there is something we can’t do ourselves.
Have you ever pictures the worse ever landlord? Well rent this place and that will become reality.
We went on holiday, told them (just in case) and during the holiday they send us a message informing us that they will access our flat as they need to remortgage the building. We had to do copy / paste of the acts that protect the tenants to avoid that situation.. in my house I would like to leave my panties wherever I want, not thinking that someone will come in and see them right?
They did works just before Christmas.. I told them my parents are coming in a week, please make sure it’s tidy during the holidays.. guess what? They left a huge hole in the wall behing the TV.. with a nice breeze keeping us company in the bedroom.
We had mice.. we called them (the only time) as we didn’t know what to do as they were UNDER the kitchen unit - tenants just moved out from downstairs - and they suggested us to put poison! To have mice under the kitchen, and have to remove all the kitchen unit when they are dead! We had to call for professional help (which is very expensive).
Amateurs and very rude people.. I could write a book about them...

The flat is really nice, but everything is cheap and breaks very quickly. Bulbs needs to be replaced very frequently, the showers always have problems, the water from one of the showers wets the carpet in the main bedroom - no one knows where the leak is from and , most importantly, we had mice!!!!! And believe me.. we are OCD with the cleaning.. looking outside of the window, it’s the train tracks.. house shakes, and of course dust is very generous, so if you have a light sleep you will be woken up at 4 am every night.
