Property World Sydenham presumably took over the management of the flat when we gave notice to leave. We're still not sure as the landlord failed to inform us clearly of what was going on. Dan called to make an appointment to view the repairs but ended up coming the day before.
The workman contractor wanted to get into the property early so he could get on with the bathroom repairs before Christmas under pressure from the landlord. He told us of Ronald trying to find the cheapest tiles for the job and asking if he could avoid doing jobs/ repairs that the workman said were necessary to avoid the leak returning later on. He even changed the tiling job to only half the bathroom and painting the other half to cut costs.
Someone (we're not sure who made the final decision after entering the flat and finding our belongings in there) decided it was appropriate and not illegal to enter our home to start ripping out the bathroom making it unusable. We (the paying tenants who live there) then returned home to find this situation!
