They repair things sporadically and badly done. they never answer my calls or emails. The house is very deteriorated and they do nothing to solve things.
They think that since I am an immigrant and my English is not that good, They think they can trample me

I could write a novel of all the terrible experiences we had with Links.
We were left without hot water for 5+ months and were told to “just use the immersion booster switch”, which cost a fortune.
On arrival, we were told “…We think the landlord covers the water cost”. We chased many times. This was never confirmed. In 2022 we were hit with a £900 bill. During the time we had no hot water, we had plumbers round refilling the boiler. This showed a spike in which the highest water cost was at £600+ (based on usage). We asked to receive our water bill monthly, chasing 7+ times but were ignored.
Our contract was up 30/11. We chased throughout September to get this renewed for 2023 but had no response. On 30/09, we received a call at 8pm letting us know they “couldn’t get hold of the landlord” so would be given our eviction notice. This was then confirmed via email and hand delivered letter at 11:30pm
We then found somewhere new to live. Viewing times were not confirmed so we had random people turning up asking for Links. When I confronted our agent, he completely gaslit me and lied, saying he’d told my partner times.”
We moved out on 23/11. We received a call on 25/11 explaining our contract stated we were to organise a professional cleaner – we missed this and this was not organised which we took responsibility for and agreed to the amount to be deducted from our deposit.
We then got another call 26/11 saying, “the new tenants are refusing entry to the property as no cleaner was organised and they will be claiming compensation”. They knew about this on 23/11?
It took 6 weeks to receive our deposit back. Link’s ended up taking £1,000+…
I truly hope no one else is treated the way we were. The unprofessionalism, unethical practices, constant shiftiness, total lack of respect, and the god-awful customer service. Please do yourselves a favour and stay well away from this tragedy of a company.
