As a single mother I was told I would need to pay a higher rent in order to become a tenant, this was also after referencing fees, a guarantor and a months rent upfront as well as deposit. Rents slightly cheaper than the current rate, however considering many tenants have to live in dangerous conditions and have to almost beg for important repairs to be carried out, believe the rent being charged is far too high.
