Letting agent reviews for Property Solutions in Birmingham

We had a lot of issues with this agent in second year as our house was extremely mouldy and we had to constantly call and email them to get them to doanything about it. We were all female students and they only listened to us when we eventually got our parents involved. In final year we had less issues though we knew how to get them to listen to us at this point.
I would recommend emailing maintenance issues so you have a written record as well as calling. And take lots of photos.
Also, like every student letting agent, they will try and take money from your deposit at the end of the year so take many pictures at the start of the year, read inventory checks and the tenancy agreement carefully, report maintenance issues promptly and keep fighting deposit reductions - even if it takes a month or so because they eventually give up if you provide enough evidence.

Pressure selling tactics. Inadequate notice viewings. Refusal to fix basic issues.

On the first day the garden was full of rubbish (bins full of rubbish and rainwater), when mentioned to the letting agent we were told it wasn't their problem as it wasn't there the previous day during their 'deep clean'. When we moved the bin full of water it was clear it had been there for years as the concrete underneath was as clean as the day it was laid.

Eventually they sent a cleaner round, although one of the letting agent employees kept coming by to try and rush her along and flirt with her.

Took months to return deposit. I don't have a single nice thing to say about Property Solutions.
