Formerly Sandstone UK (majority of our tenancy). Slow replies, even with severe issues on the house (only toilet on the property not working for >1 month, broken boiler for 2 months, leaks in the ceiling, severe damp and cold in the bathroom (no working extractor fan), broken fridge). Cycled through five property managers, and the issues with the house only started to be resolved after the University team assisted with contacting Unipol. At some points during the year, despite our lack of basic necessities, we could not get a reply from anybody within the agency. Our contract has since ended, and I am trying to get in contact with somebody about our deposit to no avail.

Initially, they were good with the inventory and everything. But then once things started to go wrong, they were useless! Told us wrong numbers to call in case of emergency aka the pipe bursting which resulted in us paying 200 to a emergency plumber and they were relectutant to give it back (we did eventually). When we moved out, we followed their checklist precisely and even got it professionally cleaned. They still tried to take all our deposit off us for the smallest of things. After months we ended up getting half back with lots of effort which was very frustrating. When we rang them after submitting evidence the person handling our case had left and the new person had no idea so the process took even longer
