Honestly, save yourself the stress and avoid this place at all costs. Dealing with Daniel and Kim Tuffin has been an absolute nightmare.
The Conditions: The house is in a shocking state and they refuse to fix it. There is severe, spreading mould that is a genuine health hazard, and the floorboards are literally broken and unsafe to walk on. When you ask them to do basic maintenance, they send their brother who does not fix the issue, or they ignore the notification.
The Aggression: If you actually push them to fix the property or point out that they aren't doing their jobs, they turn incredibly hostile. Communication consists of aggressive, yelling phone calls where they try to intimidate and scream at you just for wanting a safe place to live. They intentionally do this over the phone so there’s no paper trail.
Zero Competence: On top of being completely unprofessional, they are completely disorganized with paperwork, legal checks, and council registration. They have no idea how to properly manage a tenancy.
Do not move in here. If you are already stuck renting from them, absolutely do not talk to them on the phone. Force them to text or email everything so you have proof of how they speak to people. Lewisham Council has already been notified about this property.
