The landlady appeared nice at first but upon moving out she refused to give us our deposit and tried to get over £1000 from us.
In the end we went through the courts and she was not technically allowed even 10% of what she requested. Stupidly I offered money for a stain on the carpets which the courts said was basic wear and tear.
I was then told by the neighbour that she regularly does this to tenants and tries to keep all of the deposit.
