Diane was a good landlord, professional, communicative and efficient. Any issues with the property were fixed quickly and we always received a response within 24 hours. The space of the property was very good for four of us, and it never felt like we were "on-top of each other" and crammed in, like in other properties I have rented from.

Thank you for your thoughtful review, much appreciated. It’s lovely to hear that you enjoyed living at the property.
You mention, and I’m very proud, that 26 Norvic Drive has got so much space- I personally think that’s so important for everyone living there, and I’m glad you made the most of it.
Kind regards, Diane

Have been renting here for about 8 months so far have had no issues at all with renting here. Some maintenance issues have arisen as the house is a bit dated but these were all handled really quickly by the landlord (Diane) and Ian who deals with a lot of the maintenance around the house. There is a good stream of communication between all the tenants and landlord, and lots of notice given if anyone is needing to come over for works etc. The garden upkeep is also done by Ian so it's a plus that we don't have to worry about it! The house itself is cozy and the living areas are really spacious.

Thanks for your excellent review- I have realised since becoming a landlord that there are always little things needing attention to keep the property in good order for tenants- and I do sort them out as quickly as possible (with Ian’s help of course) or getting a specialist trades person in.
As you mentioned- I keep the gardens well maintained, so they look nice and are a good place to relax for tenants. I think it’s important for the property to look neat and well maintained to fit in with the neighbourhood as it’s a lovely area.
I agree- one of the big plus sides of 26 Norvic Drive are the spacious kitchen and living areas, and gardens, which I hope you all enjoy.
Kind regards
Diane

Diane has been my landlord for two and a half years now, and I’ve never really had a problem with her. She’s very quick to reply to any queries or problems with the house, and always gives a good amount of notice before coming around. The local maintenance man she has in her employment, Ian, is very helpful and thorough, and I’ve always felt that each issue that has arisen within the house has been dealt with in good time and to good standards.

Thank you so much for your lovely and thoughtful review. I am very pleased that you have been happy and settle at 26 Norvic Drive over the past (nearly) three years.
As you mentioned, I always respond immediately when you let me know of an issue, and Ian is invaluable in that respect- he’s often there at a moment’s notice and can more or less fix anything!
I aim to be a helpful and caring landlord, as I understand that student tenants do sometimes need a little extra support along the way.
I would also add- you have been excellent tenants and have really made yourselves at home- so lovely to see. I wish you well when you move on in September. ‘

Landlord was incredibly awkward and difficult to deal with. The landlords daughter lived at the property and would not contribute towards general cleaning and maintenance of the house as others would but would report back differential information to the landlord and complain, resulting in numerous emails of which were untrue.
- Daughter of landlord (tenant) openly insulted and complained about all tenants. All of this was heard by the other tenants leaving the general atmosphere uncomfortable and inconvenient. If there’s anything I take away from this, then that’s I would not live in a home where there is a live in landlord nor go with a landlady whom comes across as uncompromising.
- I finished my term and left the university year part way due to bereavement and grief. I would not stay at the house again mainly due to the uncomfortable environment.
Please note this review though posted by myself was written in collaboration with 3/4 (Ethan, Ingrid and myself) of the tenants during this period and subjectively based on all of our experiences combined. Let any negative or personal feedback or comments upon review by landlord be an example of this persons nature in and of itself.
Update 2025- I have been pinged due to feedback from the landlord and would like to update my review. I have since passed my university degree and my masters and have lived in many accommodations in and around Norwich and UEA which has allowed me to develop my experiences as a tenant. This was by far the worst tenancy I have ever experienced. If you want a friendly, positive or mutually respectful tenancy I implore for you to avoid this property. The landlady is vindictive, entirely unprofessional and frankly uncouth (as is clear from her personal and entirely unprofessional comments made in her response).
I have since dissolved a friendship with her daughter however, all the other tenants of the property at the time and a number of people on my course have also felt that her daughter is someone they do not wish to be friends with and this common stance has not influenced this review.
I have spoken to some tenants who have also lived at this property since I moved out and after factoring in their feedback I can confirm that if there’s one redeeming quality Diane has it’s that she has been incredibly ⭐️consistent⭐️… in how terrible of a landlady she has been.
My advice to all tenants considering this property is that there are much better properties available for let in the area, save your money and avoid the stress and live elsewhere.

Unfortunately this false review was written many years ago by a student who had a friendship issue with my daughter who was also at the property.
This student obviously did not understand that she was partly responsible for keeping the house clean- as you will see from her property review- even complaining about dust and spiders when she left- (obviously not realising she had to clean the house herself!) I can only presume in the past this has always been done for her.
Having failed her university course, this tenant has now moved on, and is hopefully happier with her life.
Since 2019, I have had numerous student groups, who have all been very happy with myself as a landlady, and with the property.
I am always contactable, repairs and issues are dealt with immediately, and the house and garden are well maintained.
It’s just a shame that one immature person can write a spurious review like this.
