The room was falsely advertised as a live-out landlord, when in fact he's a live-in landlord and hardly leaves the house. The landlord treats licensees with contempt and suspicion often making threats of taking them to court if rent is not paid exactly on time. The landlord goes to bed at 8-9pm each night forcing the rest of the house to creep around in silence. The deposit is NOT kept in a protection scheme leaving the landlord free to make ridiculous deductions (if he decided to return it at all) The landlord is an overall socially awkward person who hates small talk and prefers not to engage with the rest of the house unless necessary. This contributes to a general tension and overall negative atmosphere in the house.

Landlord was often abrupt bordering aggressive via whatsapp. Communication was poor. Climate of fear in house around making noise/doing things landlord wouldn't like. Said he was live out, was not a live out landlord. Make deductions from deposit for things not discussed prior to exit. One of the worst places I have ever lived
