Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in Twerton, Bath

Not a bad area, seemed safe to me. Might be a bit dodgy walking around at night but most places are. Bath overall is a very safe place to live and Twerton high street may be a bit run down but it is safe.

Had a couple issues with interactions with other people in the area.
No access routes via public transport past midnight

Decent! no issues with neighbours, just sometimes loud on certain weekends with the football pitch, but also only for a couple of hours, whereas usually it is quiet.

The part of Twerton we were in was fine, we were close to both a U5 bus stop to go onto university, and a 5 bus stop into town. Along Twerton High Street are two general stores, which was useful.
However, the way to the house is under a bridge and up a road that is not entirely well-lit, and on a few occasions there have been loud altercations along High Street, which, as young women often made us feel slightly worried for our safety. We were never approached and we always made sure there was a good distance between us and the arguments, but we always made sure to get back inside the house quickly.

Decent area with good access to public transport and direct access to the city centre.
