Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in Bristol

The area the house was located in is the one redeeming point. Neighbours were lovely (although we did have the police at our door one time asking if we heard any domestics from next door). Amenities were close and we had the high street practically on our doorstep.

Surrounded by student houses and Bristol Royal Infirmary, an incredibly pleasant area.

Neighbourhood was fine but not the safest and the agency left our fence hanging off for ages after a storm.

Yeah city centre is awsome! But... no supermarkets and you have to put up with the idiot walkabout pub downstairs which is very noisey on tueaday and Thurs.

Nice neighbourhood. Nice pub across the road and plenty of shops. No trouble with anyone and a nice atmosphere.

Perfect student neighbourhood. Loud at night. Student road not many families. Poor parking and car access.

Great area on uni campus and close to all shops, restaurants and bus stops/stations

In contrast to the landlady and the house the area is wonderful. It's ideal for heading down Gloucester Rd and on into town and good for working in North Bristol.

Great area to live, excellent access to city centre and good public transport links. Very popular area of Bristol

Very good location for students, around a 7 minute walk from university. Close to Sainsbury's.
