Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in Bristol

This is the only thing that makes the property bearable Bedminster is a lovely place to live as a student.

Right next to the downs, bus stop just outside. Uni is a 20/25 minute walk. Clifton Down is only 10 mins away too. There is currently a building site next door (and its big), so between that and the petrol station on the other side, as well as the busy road and junction below, it IS quite loud there.

Perfect location close to the Uni as well as shopping district in centre, and nightlife. Bit noisy at night with people walking by, but what you get living so centrally. Parking is a bit high in price and complicated to get but worth it as away form the street.

Berminster, right next to the ASDA. Great location to head into town or down to North Street. Also close to Temple Meads making it an ideal place to live and really affordable.

Great location and very quiet for so close to the centre. Sometimes other occupants in the building smoke or talk on their balconies late at night, it will depend on the night and the people renting but most will be quiet if asked (usually out of the window..) and isn't normally an issue. Safe area, nice pub at the end of the road just refurbished, 5 minutes to the triangle and 10 minutes to university area, 20-25 mins walk to town centre.

Bristol, Gloucester Road, need I say more? Apparently I do to meet the minimum description length.

Pub opposite is amazing, close to university and stokes croft. Really enjoyed living here.

Parking is atrocious as people park on the road and work on Gloucester road. Close proximity to The holy grail (The Anchor) and nearby shops are a convenience but expensive.

Can be a bit loud, but I feel safe here. Good transport links, very close to the local shops and takeaways.

Great location for UWE students.
