Neighbourhood and local area reviews for renting in Bristol

The street was always dirty and with screaming random people at night time.
Very closed to Cabot Circus.

St Werburgh's is a nice neighbourhood, with plenty of green spaces and friendly smiling people. If you move here, remember to smile to people too!

The house location itself is a bit of a pain because you have to go up+down a steep hill to get to it. That gets tiring quickly.

Quiet but with excellent links to nearby UoB, Stokes Croft and the centre.

Neighbourhood could be a bit loud, in part due to the restaurant. Bit dirty outside due to the bins outside the premises but otherwise, was fine.

Clifton, so lovely, but except for maybe the students, very white & middle class.

Great area; Clifton is brilliant and charming. Quieter than Redland and other areas with a large student population. Great location and good neighbours, expect for our upstairs

If you go looking for trouble it will find you in southmead. Keep yourself to yourself and be prepared to deal with gangs of kids at times.

Nice area if a little far away from public transport. Pleasant neighbourhood, good for families, but difficult if you have no car.

It's a great area, handy for the great food and part of the community of Easton. We're on a busy road but there are potential plans to calm traffic further. There are a lot of families, young hipsters and cultural diversity around here and we're close to the excellent Whitehall Primary school. We can also get on the B2B cycle path easily, wander around Greenbank cemetery or Eastville Park, and get on the motorway in minutes.

Redland is lovely, quiet but with shops & some sense of community. Close to uni & train
